Yep. I was very disappointed with Jake at West Ham and he seems to have gone off the boil since becomming an 'automatic' starter. I think he could do with the kick up the arse of not starting a game. I don't buy the 'lack of confidence' argument, I think he's over-confident at the moment and that's the problem.

Totally agree.

I think a spell on the bench, at least to start the game, would give him a reality check.

On Jake's current form, Elder could do no worse.

How can he be over confident if he hasn't scored a league goal since Huddersfield away? He is taking to many long shots instead of taking the ball closer to goal.I suppose Wilkins is wrong by saying he is lacking a bit of confidence at the momentas well.

I dont know about mom, with Revell out I think El-Abd is a front runner for player of the season.I realise Cox & Robinson have grabbed the headlines but El -Abd has found a level & stayed at that level consistantly.

I thought El-Abd was great yesterday. He has to be one of the big positives to come out of this season. He has fitted into his new centre midfield role so naturally.
