Abuse of Credit Cards.

Hi,All. Last week her indoors behind my back USED my Credit Card to order a new kitchen. It was accepted by the kitchen firm straight away (no surprise) I found out 2 days later my card had been used. I am asking how would you feel ? If your loved one did that 2 you?

you married to my wife? she did the very same with a bloody bathroom, i was planning on a diy masterpiece doing it all myself and everything. before i had even chance to get to homebase she has got online and spent ten times the price in my name and got some spotty oik here fitting the damn thing.

were you planning on getting a new kitchen? i was pretty annoyed with mrs starry but eh, you can't take your money with you life is too short to be annoyed about stuff . she aint having new shoes or handbags until 2010 though.

Surely you can sue the bollocks off the company who sold the kitchen? Did your wife buy from ther internet?

Either way, if it is your card she's used have her arrested for card fraud...Unless you love her, then get her really pissed and then when she's asleep move all the furniture around in the house so that when she wakes up, she is completely confused!

Well i thought you had 14 days in which to change your mind ? The kitchen was cancelled the following day,the Rep and so called area manager came around,i was furious and went spare with both of them. However it seems YOU DONT have to sign anything,they just take the card number and process it. Nat-West positsion is YOU should keep the card safe at all time and this is fraud and to recover my money unless the firm refund,you have to take legal action against your wife/partner.

speak to your local trading standards department as i am sure that you have 7 days to cancel an internet order.
also re contact your credit card company if the transaction is over £50 you should have automatic insurance.this though does not apply if its a debit card.

You asked what we think. I think that if you and your wife talked to each other ore instead of putting it on the internet then you might decide on a kitchen together.
