You're absolutely right, the reason he stayed so long was nothing to do with fabulously paid human rights lawyers, whose job it is to drag proceedings out for as long as physically possible. It was entirely the fault of those with left-leaning tendencies. That chap next door to me who reads the Guardian and drives a Prius. He's the real villain here.
