Heads up for anyone travelling from Hants or Dorset to the Forest game on Sunday.

A27 Eastbound closure at Havant all weekend

Last weekend Westbound was closed & it caused carnage - delays of 2-3 hours in & around Havant Town Centre & on the diversion route.

Yep - horrific.

We drove past the Westbound queues on our way to the game on Saturday, and it was just solid for miles, from Emsworth almost back to Chichester. Proper 'that's your day f***ed queues' with people out of their cars, wandering about with kids and dogs.

We came back via A27 as far as Arundel, then up the Bury road to pick up the A272 (then Petworth / Midhurst / Petersfield / Winchester....)

In reality we quite enjoyed the change, and it only added 20 minutes or so to our usual journey time. That's the route we'll be taking Eastbound, this week.

Yep - a mate from Selsey heading to Cheshire was stuck for 4 hrs as it was not signposted in Chichester - once past Fishbourne roundabout he was screwed!

Starting from Selsey, that's not to bad . That whole stretch to Southampton from Chi has been pretty crap for ages now so I've been mostly working from home (and reading NSC to much).
