a27 closed ?? short alternative route!!!!
for those travelling to the amex tonight through Chichester. if the a27 is still closed at the portfield roundabout(by Sainsburys) an easy way to get round this is to turn back to pompey. after half a mile you come to a main set of traffic lights, turn left here (you'll go through a small village) this road brings you back out on the a27 the next roundabout from the closure.

I've driven past this morning and the road is open but down to one lane eastbound between the Portfield roundabout and the A285. Both lanes are open westbound.

Seconded, though by the looks of it it should be back to two lanes by tonight as the water has been pumped away/sucked off by the truck.
Same here, although the section just after the railway bridge was much worse. I'm surprised that wasn't shut on Sunday.
