A year and half and gus still doesn't understand how to play 433!!!

When you play 433 two of the attacking three have to be pacey direct players ie bollasi and Zaha or noone and Bellamy . Over this time we have had Buckley noone and lua lua at the club and we never play two, its always 1 and a slow player like Barnes or Lopez. And the fact we haven't got the rite striker to play the formation is mind boggling. I love gus but I think jan is make or break because with the squad we have we should be archiving more.

Its not even always one, Cardiff at home last year ; he started with none of those three & waited until we were one down until bringing one on, even tho they had parked the bus for an hour

Tbh I don't think we play 4-3-3

It's more 4-1-3-2, with Bridcutt being the 1, in front of the back 4, then three midfielders, and one winger and one striker

It's overly defensive, meaning we don't concede bundles (today being an exception), but makes scoring difficult

I think the fans are getting a bit peeved with the lack of ambition when it comes to attacking, with any previous goodwill being eroded due to the tactics being seen as negative and not working

Who knows what formation we play. We should have a 4-2-2-2. Three holding midfielders doesn't work. Then again only playing 1 winger who only had support in one player doesn't either. Should be 2 centre midfielders. Two wingers and two strikers. Still have no idea why Barnes had been playing on the left.
