A Valentine Day Massacre!

Basil Fawlty

Don't Mention The War
Invited my new missus to a Valentine Day treat. The morning went well, handed over each other presents, had a big fry-up with all the trimmings. We get into Brighton. I buy The Damned United book, so I'm looking forward to reading that sometime in the near future. Then we get to the pub, and meet up with my mates and have a laugh, drink and a game of pool. We then make our way to Withdean. This was her first ever Brighton match and maybe this will be her last. Because for 90 minutes of that match, it was a shambles. Defending was like Sunday League, no ideas and no passion and not even a shot on target. My girlfriend didn't know who the players were, but I can tell you something she thought Seb Carole getting MOM was a total embarassment. Now thanks to MA, I feel like a total let-down, because all of the way home I didn't stop moaning. Plus I found out when I got in that the Restaurant I booked up double booked us, so we've had to have a Tesco Indian Meal for two. My missus is knackered and has fallen asleep in my bedroom, and she going home soon.

THANKS MA FOR RUINING MY VALENTINE DAY!

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
If yopu are relying on BHA to provide you with a good St Valentine's day, then you are sadly deluded and have been for some time.

Maybe it would have been better instead of incessant moaning you could have looked in her eyes and said......................:sheep::love:

May I ask how you agreed with her to come to football? I've tried this with my missus a few times but she's never interested.

And I'm with R-M Taylor, how did you get her to go, i've tried it many times and never worked?

I had a spare ticket because my Dad was working, so I asked her and she said yes. But now I really regret it...

Ahh that's alright. I mention to her about coming to Scunthorpe (21st March) to see a real football match, or alternatively go to Wembley with the family but she blatantly refuses and changes the subject. And she says she follows Chelsea :ohmy:

Chelsea aint too bad, that's what all my family support, apart from me.
It's better than Arsenal, which my girlfriend 'follows', as all her family support the Arse. Its mahem when Chelsea play Arsenal

Can she name more than three players because my missus can't?

She can only name them as she thinks there :lolol:

Don't even go there:lolol:
I think she only knows Fabregas because he's 'fit', makes me sick :lolol:
And I think that is all she knows, and she goes to some games:wozza:

I'll take her to Wembley (if we get there) to watch some real footy, and hopefully turn her into a Brighton fan:albion2:

Still trying to convince her for Wembley, as I'll be coming down for a few days before/after to see some of the family, so would be good if she came. Doubt I would succeed though

:lolol:Worth a go.

I'm going to tempt her by saying that we will go out in London in the evening, as my brother lives 2 mins away from Wembley we can crash there for the night. Thats my bribe:lolol:

There's already too many women at football, why start bringing another one - hope you still get a game of hide the sausage in tonight when she awakes.
