Oldham away a few seasons ago, when Nathan Elder equalised in the last minute of injury time, and Michel LAUNCHED himself through the stewards to celebrate with us in the away end.

You knew at that moment just how much he loved the Albion.:clap2:

Wolves away 2002, that double save. I was there, but it was on tv for all to see and marvel at.

THAT save against Blackpool. Remarkable. I'll never forget us beating them 4-0 and Michel being awarded the man of the match. Hero.

I loved the fact that he played for us for years and every goal he conceded was somebody else's fault, and he wasn't slow to tell them either :lolol:

I'll go for the penalty save against Man City.

Meopham, Kent.
The "alleged" story of how Corky used to call him Trevor "because no-one in my team has a girls name, Michelle" until Michel eventually snapped and pinned Corky up against the wall. He was never called Trevor again.

Had the pleasure of meeting him a week or so ago. A nicer bloke you couldn't wish to meet. Comes across as very genuine and is Albion through & through. My god he has a handshake on him!

I am happy to confirm all of that. I've met him twice and he's a genuine bloke and stronger than you would believe.

Clearing the ball during a one-on-one situation with a diving header away at Port Vale (0-1; Alex Revell scored from a Nathan Elder assist). Kuipers always had something in him that bordered between genius and lunacy.

Some home game in the 2010-11 season he was running up and down the touch line warming up. About 30 seconds previously the lino flagged for something which seemed a shocking decision, The crowd was going mental and the FDM went behind him and started pulling faced and hand gesturing, It got a loud laugh from the south stand :lolol:

Maybe not the best but probably the funniest.
