I would be more interested if Mr Barber meant the pie and drink was a refund for the match ticket

Nice of the club to offer a pie and and drink for their efforts. Mr Barber is not all that bad then it seems.

As much as I dislike you weeds I do feel for the fans who travelled up north today, done it myself a few times once a game at Oldham was called off at the last minute went and watched Halifax v Stockport on a Friday night.Safe journey home, should be back in time to watch Palace on sky

Yes well done. You've gone to a game of association football that has been called off, you must be the only fans EVER to have suffered this indignity!

Can we start a petition so the club can honour these hardly souls with perhaps a plaque or maybe bronze statues of each of them?

Please, allow me to speak on behalf of the 678 fans (my family included) who made the effort today: f*** off you pissing little prick.

Merry Christmas.

My thoughts were on hearing the game had been cancelled was at least taking into consideration distance to travel, conditions up north, our recent poor form and results and of course so many other things to do close to Christmas that there would be only a couple of coaches going, the total of over 600 supporters is unbelievable

Didn't we take 700-800 to Middlesborough just before Christmas last season?

The posh bit
I touted tickets for man city vs reading

And this is shit.

Would rather be stranded on cold wet Crewe station for 90 mins

spot on Arthur, what a bunch of martyrs !!

I have already secured my HERO status by attending the FA Cup 1st Round replay at Hartlepool.
That is all.
I went to Halifax v Albion (albeit from Mansfield) 3 times one season (2 postponements, both due to a waterlogged Shay; was fortunate to be allowed onto the overnight National Express after one of them, due to late afternoon and whole evening being spent in the pubs :))
