Not quite F1, but back when racing cars looked great. This is my father in law, Eugene Hall racing at Brands October 1955 in a Cooper MK VI

I don’t recall Mr Blobby driving in F1.

I was at this race in 1968 at the Nurburgring, it pissed down the whole day. This was a nice day out for my family!

Jackie Stewart in a Matra.

You only got to see the cars about every 8 minutes as they used the full track in those days

As driven by Graham in a fag packet - can we not have the proper version in BRG with the Master at the helm?

Just to annoy you again….this was a picture taken at Goodwood today - as part of the Graham Hill tribute parade!

There were plenty of other iconic F1 cars (and iconic non-F1 cars) to see there this weekend.

Never a huge fan of F1 growing up, but my dad was. I did always love the look of the Brabham cars though, and the old Williams with Alan Jones driving. I still have my Scalextric versions of them up in my parents loft too I think.

I did some work for a guy a few years ago (car cleaning products) who had collaborated on it with Stirling Moss.
Tragically, he was murdered by his girlfriend a few months later, before we finished the job - but just before that he had very kindly got Stirling Moss to sign a photo of him racing for me....which my dad still has proudly framed & displayed in his study to this day.
