Being at Hereford for Peter Ward's debut and 1st of many goals. You just knew he was going on to great things.

I can remember watching Brighton vs Crawley Town and hearing the North Stand singing 'You're going out with the Arsenal' and an exited buzz going round when everyone heard about Wrexham knocking out Arsenal thanks to that amazing Micky Thomas free kick. The same game the Crawley centre forward took it round our keeper and kicked it towards the goal, ran away celebrating in front of the Brighton fans only for the ball to stick in the mud on the goal line and albion clear it and start another attack whilst he was still teasing the supporters.

I have to say not much can touch the Swindon home game for great memories.

Zamora's goal at Bury was possibly the most sublime bit of football I've had the fortune to experience live. Always give me a shiver when I remember it.

Seeing Dean Saunders score and secure a win at Sheffield United back in about 1986, we hadn't won away from home in an absolute age, all the Albion fans sung his name on the walk back to the station, a mixture of joy and relief.

That weekend in Cardiff is going to take some beating for me. I've been an Albion fan for more than 45 years and I can't remember feeling like that as an Albion fan. EVER! Admitedly I was living overseas when we won promotion at Newcastle but somehow I can't think it would have felt like Brighton 1 - Bristol City 0 in the number one stadium in the country in the brilliant sunshine with GOSBTS ringing around the place.

Mullers letting me on the team coach and dropping me off at the station - can't remember which away match - because if he hadn't, then I would have missed the Seagulls special train..

with the exception of obviously 3 weeks ago plymouth away when we won promotion cos iv lived in plymouth for most of my life and a lot of my mates are plymouth fans who were there.it was the 1st promotion id had since id been following the albion around the country and id been winding them all up since the fixtures came out that we'd win promotion down there and for it actully to happen was just magical.

bobby's goal away a chesterfield when he knocked the ball out of the keepers hands and as i drove away from the ground i listened to the local radio and heard there commentators and fans call us cheats!! hahaahah yer right

Winning 2-0 at West Brom in the League Cup in 1976 when they were in the old 1st division and we were in Div 3.We dominated the game and our support was amongst the best I've ever experienced.

When we won the Third Div Championship and we played Lincoln at home, around Easter time, we beat them 2 - 0 and for some reason that always sticks in my mind when I think of great Brighton memories.

I remember the Peterborough game away when we won div 2 and the roar that went round when we found out Bobby Z was playing and then the outpouring of emotion when he scored. Some old guy (must have been about 70) next to me grabbed me and had tears in his eyes and was just telling me 'remember this son, it dont get any better!'

Marvellous scenes.

off the pitch, the wycombe game season just gone. the megaphone incident. never seen stewards and police looking so idiotic:lolol:

on the pitch, has to be bobbys goal at withdean against halifax, a screaming volley. at first i thought it was miles out, but having seen it on video, it wasnt so far out, but still impressive all the same.

travelling to/from games, it has to be when we got promoted at plymouth and being stuck in the car park, beeping horns, sussex by the sea on cd, marvellous scenes all round. people were singing we'll never piss here again, as we walked by the worst toilets i have ever seen at a footy ground (goldstone excepted)

that was a great day with a mixture of emotions as you say ritchie when we got to the ground and bobby was out there warming up it gave us such a lift!! the he missed an early pen and of course harty breaking his leg before bobby scored and though we celebrated as if we were up we still needed a point and for that reason the players celebrations were obviously being as professional as they are very muted as danny lead them through a line of stewards to the away end

fantastic!!!
