Has anyone tried to renew their season ticket online and had it default to a different seat number (i.e. away from mates)?

going to get one for the first time in six years (gave it up when i went off to uni) mainly cause my cousin is coming to uni in brighton next year (i got him into supporting albion about 7 years ago and given where he lives he should be a hammer) and wants to take advantage of the £140 deal.
