Perhaps the same tune for Paddy McCourt?

Of course... I think its fits quite nicely but that depends on how its interpreted. How would you change it?

I'm not even sure the people singing that know quite what the tune is meant to be.

It sounds vaguely like Achy Breaky Heart sung at the wrong tempo, and the "I just don't think you understand" bit would support this hypothesis - if this is the case, wouldn't something for Anthony Knockaert work better lyrically with it?

Definitely think it should be along the lines to the Ozil or Payet (Paddy McCourt) tune - very catchy. Surely we can get better lyrics than the Ozil/Payet song though.
