I said this last year when I supported getting rid of MA, I'll say it this year when I'm supporting keeping Slade:

Not knowing who we will replace someone with is not a reason to not fire them.

Candidates come out of the woodwork when the vacancy arises, and for some waiting in the wings - not before.

Know where you're coming from but rumour I heard was that if Wise came it would be with Poyet and possibly Dave Basset as his backroom staff so that would at least make it a bit easier to swallow as thats quite a team.

And I think that ultimately Slade's downfall will not be Slade himself but his coaching staff which we all know is not good enough but there again he had to chance to bring in his own team in the summer but instead just got a new goalkeeping coach and physio and stuck with tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee.

Poyet would be head and shoulders above DW and BB
