A new giant flag – donations welcome

Following a fans vote across various media earlier this season the winning design for a new giant flag was ‘Sussex by the Sea’. Following feedback and positive suggestions the final design is attached below.

If you would like to donate towards the cost of this flag please send PayPal payments to nskbha@gmail.com . If you don’t have PayPal you can donate via bank transfer or with cash. PM us here or DM us on twitter for details.

We currently have £1010. As an idea a 12m x 9m flag would cost around £1200, a 14m x 11m flag would cost around £1600 and a 16m x 12m around £2000. The flag would be produced in the UK. Cheaper options have been explored but we are not happy with the quality and as such we would not want to go down that route.

The flag will have a fire safety certificate and would have storage.

Because I'm rubbish with these things, but I think if we're going to get a giant flag we might as well get a GIANT flag...

- Is a 16m * 12m flag practical to deal with?
- For comparison purposes, how deep is the North Stand from front to back?

Should be fine. Occasional assistance may be required. They are more than enough people willing to help out. Volunteers always welcome.

Answer: Buckingham Plant contractors skipped it, whilst putting in the new seats during the 2104/15 close season.

Did Buckingham build the away end at Withdean? I thought it was more local contractors.

There was a poll on another earlier thread I think it was about 34% yes and 66% over my dead body. I would of preferred a trial run.
