Is this reformed version of genesis, featuring the original five ? Or just the 80s three ? If so (if it’s the latter) it’s hardly worthy of note/fanfare.

If it features Gabriel and Hackett et al, I suppose that’s marginally more interesting.

Anyways, it’s apparently been hinted at with an “... and then there were three ...” picture on their social media. Hackett is already touring this year anyway. No idea what Gabriel’s up to.

Not sure why they think it’s a good idea, though I’m sure I’ll try to get tickets.....

Hackett is playing in Brighton at the Dome in November. I saw him last year, he is great. He is performing the "Seconds Out" set this time, if you like that era. Tickets are not £150 either

This will be better than any 'Genesis' reunion.

Sadly missed out on seeing the classic pre 1980 Genesis. I saw them on the Invisible Touch tour and I hate to say it but Phil Collins was a very engaging front man but most of the music was bland.

Reunion for genesis confirmed well the 3 of them. 2 dates at the o2 alongside other arenas plenty of space for extra dates or long rests

Hackett is great and plays some of the decent Genesis stuff (when him and Gabriel were in the band).

The original line up was one of the best live bands around.

I think the support was String Driven Thing, with Graham Smith on violin, later a member of Peter Hammill's touring band.

Genesis turned from interesting prog rock band to dreary faux prog rock band for dreary middle class tory voting students from Hemel Hempstead (I knew one) after Gabriel left and the drummer decided to be the singer.

When it said MASSIVE band I assumed it would be the England Supporters Band, they usually rock up at Massive as and when they have a game they deem big enough to warrant turning up to.
