The timing is abit weird, to have a meeting on a Friday then announce it Saturday morning, DK has f***ed himself over with the whole Wilkins affair and to still have those goons is annoying but I hope the new manager will kick them out soon enough.

Did they get it right? Wilkins should never have got the sack in the first place. This season has just been a disaster.

They may have got it wrong but one thing is for certain-they did what they thought was the right thing to do for the good of the club. They didn't plan on having such a disastrous season.

Also,Micky Adams did his best-unfortunately, this time around it wasn't good enough. He didn't set out to fail.

Let's hope that whoever the new manager is, he unites the fans and everybody gets behind the club and the team instead of all of the recent and on-going attempts to de-stabilise the club because Wilkins was fired.

Ok i don't want to go over the whole Wilkins saga but the board made a huge mistake getting rid of him. I would have a lot of respect if DK puts his hands up and admits his mistake. I just hope they get the right man for the job

wherever the money is
They did right by bringing him in as he is quite obviously a believer in this club and yes it was time to go but it should have been after the game and not before.

At least this poll is somewhat consistent with the last 'in/out' poll at 30% saying in.

We all know the appointment to replace Wilkins was a huge mistake-there was obviously a reason for getting rid of him that only a few people know. It is now time to move on-especially by the handful who do nothing but abuse DK because their friend was sacked.

This is as good a time as any for everybody to start afresh.

board did make the right decision but strange timing and have left it too late, he should have gone after boxing day. Hope theres time for new manager to make an impact and get what are some good individual players palying as a good team. Hopefully he will start with how to play quick passing football on the ground, preferably to one of our own players.

I think the board got it right.

They wern't to know that he was going to be crap (although I am still less-than comfortable about how Wilkins was dismissed). They backed him handsomly in the transfer market and stood by him even when the reults were poor. Really the board could not have done anythin more to support Adams during his time here.

They got rid at the first suggestion that he wasn't happy.

I think they got it right.
