I couldn't make it last night but have heard that the pitch was terrible on here. Those pictures seem to suggest it wasn't awful. An excuse for a poor performance or some photos that do not tell the whole story?

The latter. Was rock hard and like a cabbage patch!

Don't know why you say that. Even if not in the league for a few years - there's always the cup, unless you're suggesting they're beneath us?

You should have gone for a tinkle in the toliets under the stand. Much nicer in there.
