Difference being that all 4 of the players mentioned above give 100% every game and don't throw hissy fits if dropped, I believe that is all MM is asking for.

Thats because (worringly) they are never dropped!

Only quarrel the vast majority of us on here have with McGhee is on footballing issues like tactics and player selection. Man-management also in some cases. But accusing him of racism is a disgusting slur on the man.

What you guys have to understand is you will never hear the truth the whole truth and nothing but.
I hope you are all big enough to admit your f*** ups when mm is exposed.
I just hope its a while before he sobers up and realises that joel is of mixed race, coz i bet you he'll be next to be the target of his abuse once CKR has been outed. :drink:
As NSC's most eloquent debater and sagest wit, may I respectfully suggest you blow your head out of your hole.

No wonder there was no consultation about the new away shirt this season, it's obvious MM would only accept a white shirt :lolol:

So we can look forward to Mayo, Carpenter, Hammond or Oatway being publicly criticised when they next have one of their bad games can we? Somehow I doubt it but let's wait and see whether McGhee's new found straight talking gets shared around when justifed.

Agree with you over Oatway and Chippy, but Mayo is very regularly criticised by McGhee, and for a lot of last season he was also openly critical of Hammond, particularly his lack of finishing prowess.

I mean how could the players see with a hood over their head?

Now isn't an Oracle, someone who is an infallible guide to the future (not the past)?

Thus everybody is entitled to their own opinions on this issue and these are mine, if you can't see or understand my concern that's fine but it is a statment of fact,

1) Oracle, you are not,
2) but you are a f***ing twat......
3) piss off.

Mayo is never dropped? I'm struggling to think of a player dropped more often under McGhee than Mayo :lolol:

In the Argus pull-out preview of the season a couple of weeks ago, 3 of those players (not Oatway obviously) were constructively criticised by McGhee to raise their level of performance. I'm surprised you missed it because the usual suspect McGhee critics made a song and dance about it on here, as is their wont. I think they genuinely believe Mark McGhee should be the first manager in football history never to comment on the performance of his players

As for Oatway, I'm sure I recall an article in the Argus a couple of years ago where McGhee said Oatway would not get a new contract unless he made himself a first-team regular. He then played better than I think he has under any Albion manager, not that McGhee would ever be given any credit for that, obviously :)

i at the risk of being laughed at think mm has done an okay job with the lack of money and facilities our great club has not got.he has stuck around and at the moment seems to have found his passion for the game,(even without his suit on).and i also think the racist slur is going too far,he's been alot of things but not a racist......just trying to get the best out of our team....so far this season so good....:)

I see nothing to laugh at there. A sensible viewpoint.
For me, the jury is still out on McGhee after last season. But I'll bear with him for now, being as he knows his way round this division, and we've had a decent start.
I'm watching him VERY closely though. Like a hawk, in fact.
