We would have to have a rehearsal around the beginning of October just to make sure we get it right

Back in Sussex
The Prince Albert (up the hill from the Nelson) have a decent sized upstairs room that would probably be available.

Very Albion friendly pub. The landlord is Chris who is a season ticket holder. He used to own the old Concorde on Madeira Drive where fans meetings used to take place during the dark days.

Count me in for any future get togethers if they coincide with a home game.

I'll try and attend this one - at least there won't be another football AGM that soon !

After popping in the Nelson to thank them/apologise tomorrow I'll enquire in the Prince Albert (any excuse for a lunchtime pint).

That's a good idea because most venues near Christmas get booked up early

Safeway if you or indeed anyone works in Brighton we should all meet-up one friday lunchtime for a quick pint :D I'm always up for beer....not that I'm an alcoholic or anything (he says typing this at 11:38pm on a sunday after being down the pubs for 7 hours)
I'm in Black Lion street so pretty much central!

Anyway back to the topic, whenever in Dec is GREAT but If I'm flying down a mountain at breakneck speeds then I demand pictures :D

Suggest somewhere central, or somewhere close to me. :D

The Open House (formerly The Springfield) is right next to London Road Station - and should soon be a 'Albion' pub, as it is the last pub next to a station on route from Brighton to Falmer.

It's got a decent sized upstairs room with bar (cap. 80), and if we ask nicely, we may even get an extension. And we can sing! It does depend on availability.

Strongly suggest Sat 13 December. Too many of us will be coming back from Merseyside on the 20th. Who knows, one or two Port Vale might stick around that weekend and Turkey can renew his acquaintances.

Does this sound good?

I don't reckon the Open House will become an Albion Pub, too f***ing poncy for my liking too and thats just the staff. More likely the Railway?

Still the upstairs room is pretty good there. Bit far out of town though?
