Just seen us top of the league on SSN... amazing stat - far more than anyone else...

Presumably it is not a chance coincidence but is a consequence of our style of play?

mainly professional fouls, lose possession just pull the player down and break down the play

I'd be interested to see how many cautions were issued to teams playing us, and I believe that there may be a clue in the answer as to why we got so many.

We had 92 yellows (of which 2 were second yellows) and 6 straight reds.

Opposition had 110 yellows (don't know how many were second yellows, and I'd have to think about opposition reds - I can only think of Ricky Lambert).

The two Leicester got against us - Beckford (later rescinded - straight) and Danns (second yellow, although could've arguably been a straight red).

i'm pretty sure we made it exactly 100 yellows if you include both cup runs!

In a pile of football shirts
after are second yellow against barnsley heard a chant about having 100 yellows

Yes, that might have been coming from around where I was standing, along with Tony Meloas Loan Smell and Mendoza, we'd been waiting for the magic moment!

Isnt it right that despite having so many booking we have never been booked in a single game more than the opposition on the day??

imo the opposing teams always seemed to get away with more when playing against us, definitely more fouls conceded before getting a yellow

Not quite, on a few occasions we have, against teams like Cardiff, Palace, Barnsley, etc.
But on most occasions we got fewer bookings than our opponents.

Does anyone have a ratio for how many fouls we committed to bookings and the same for the opposition in our games?

You've stated the nationalities of two of the management team, and you think that's a closing statement on an argument?

I assume that's what that means, because apart from that, I have no idea what you're on about.

then i question your knowledge of football.
