That is the position of the teams we still have to play.
Now I know we're not very good as we're 22, but apart from
Swindon (18) I'm not sure the rest have much to play for.

I can't believe I'm stupid enough to start thinking we have
a chance, but if ...

If we win against swindon It'll be a bit better. 10 points from 5 games sounds errrrrrr...... achievable :lolol:

Hopefully all the players realise that every game from now on is a cup final, and go into each game with a far better attitude than the other side and pick up hopefully 3 points.

The lot of a football fan. We pick up a win against one of the few sides who are worse then us after picking up 1 point from 4 games then all of a sudden we are back to thinking we are going to pick up 13 points from our next 5 games.

Football at this level is a lot to do with confidence and momentum. It is absolutely vital we beat Swindon on Saturday. It's just about as big a game as the Play Off semi in 2004.

Very true, pick up another win or even a point on saturday and we may at last have some confidence and some momentum. win our game in hand and to be honest its all to play for, a 2 point difference is not a lot.

The rest of the teams we have do not have anything to play for and might settle for mid table so there is every chance of it still happening. come on boys

Unfortunately while the theory sounds good it rarely pans out that way. Teams that "have nothing to play for" seem to relax a bit and play better. Ok, if they went 2 down they may not have the fight in them to come back, but they'll be no pushovers and they are above us for a reason over 30-odd games. Still, here's hoping.

thats an interesting statistic, the end of the season always brings some strange results- teams with nowt to play for tend to give some of their young guns a run out and often have one eye on the next season. I'm quite happy with our run in....:ascarf:

Orient, Swindon, even Yeovil have hada mini run is this the time for us to have one.

3 home wins and 3 draws away or 1 win away would possibly do it. The home wins are possible as are getting a result away although I dont hold much hope for Bristol Rovers.

All teams during a season have a little run of winning form, look at Orient Crewe etc, its just the law of averages.
Brighton is yet to have theirs, and coupled with the adrenaline rush of having a new manager, may just do it for us.

I think saturday is absolutely essential to win, however , the way the fixtures are I don't think we'd gain much. It will then be Colchester away where it will be really crucial. Fixtures look better and we have a real chance of gaining.

Both games as important as each other, 2 wins out of 2 , anything else and we are going down kids

Well if we play high tempo shoot on sight football then we will have a chance. On Saturday we could tear the team to shreds as long as a certain Cox is kept out of the game.

Was shit last season when we played them. I also think Hal Robson-Kanu is injured.

*waiting confirmation from Ninja Elephant*

This is fact:

We are not down. We do have a chance.

This is opinion:

Because of the above facts, in my opinion we should all cheer them on and get behind the boys.

I just wish people could distinguish between the two a bit better.

This being the same Cox that has run the show against the last two teams we've beaten? (Hereford and Yeovil)

Yahh.. Ok.
