wilkins wont let gatting go, which is a shame

reckon it will be savage who is the one to go. his run at the end of last season was not consistent with the rest of his career, and he really does look like bambi on ice

having said that though, if dean white dislikes robinson as much as he is supposed to, then it wouldn't suprise me if he was gone pretty soon if the former tv salesman has anything to do with it

Amazing how negative people can be !!!

I agree Jakey isn't an out and out striker, although he would be extremley successful in the right type of side. The goals he scored last season were for the most part when we played poorer opposition and we passed the ball through the middle of the park.

For the rest of the season we continually lumped aimless crosses into the box which is never going to be his strong point.

However i agree, this season is probably his last chance, although still young has been around the first team for a while now and and has to show his worth

By the seaside in West Somerset
Robinson in the midfield pool
Savage to move on if doesnt do well early on. Replaced by Elder in a 3 man front line with Revell or Bowditch alongside Forster
Gatting on the bench and Gargan before the end of the season

I'd say the performance and goals of Savage in the run in to the end of the season kept us in this division -short memories some of us have! I'd say he deserves his chance as much as any of our other strikers.

Gatting & Robinson have the most to prove this season. Elder has potential, and Revell is a first choice.

Out of all our strikers I'd say Revell is the most likely to be sold, probably to a championship side if he has a good start to the season.

Agree with that ,Revell still needs another season with us or he will be warming the bench somewhere in the championship.

if you keep a player in the side just because of what he has done in the past, then you will never progress
