I for one will have some quiet reflection tomorrow, as it is the anniversary of the Zeebrugge Disaster first heard news in the early evening that day and still can taste the whole of that fateful week.

Me & Mrs Mart went on a booze cruise to Zeebrugge just a few days after it had happened, and it was a tad errie and unsettling sailing past the giant upturned hull just outside the harbour.

A lady I work with travelled on that crossing 24 hours earlier, she was due to be on that ferry but had run out of money travelling in Europe.

The bow doors were left open werent they ?

Just out of interest were they left open a little bit or just left open completly, i know that sounds a weird question but ive always thought about that question !

They were left open completely which caused it to sink.
