I was a massive Valens and Holly fan back in the late 80's. I wore out my copy of La Bamba on VHS.

That is very spooky indeed. My 11yr old son whose interest in all things Lennon & McCartney saw us engaged in a very long conversation about their influences today, asked me to play both Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly albums in the car. We then had another long chat about how the latter had died. Spent the afternoon watching Gary Busey in the bio-pic. Marvellous.
