Does anyone on here play in any of the organised leagues around Brighton and Hove, looking to join one any suggestions from current players?

Pitch Invasion (now called Powerplay) for me, I play on Sundays up at Waterhall. I'd strongly recommend this one, from what i've heard the players at Deason can be quite temperamental. It's a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for the most part, and only 20 minute halfs, but can be fast paced.

I play at Stanley Deason on Monday nights (and Waterhall and Westows before that). It's great fun and a good way to keep fit. "i've heard the players at Deason can be quite temperamental." - I've never had any problems up there. It can get a bit rowdy every now and then but so would most contact sports I'd imagine. Played about 15 games there now and most teams I've met have been nice guys.
If you haven't played in a while then it can be alarming to see how unfit you are. I think I managed about 3 minutes before making a sub in the first game.

Played at Waterhall about 7 years ago.

The old Kings Manor pitches seem to be fairly decent, better times too. waterhall goes on until 9.30, dont fancy playing that late.

Another Monday night at Deason, been playing up there for nearly 12 years now. Echo what the above says, most teams are friendly and no problems though you do get the occasional one with a bit of attitude, but they are rare. Been playing Wednesday nights at Deason too for the last three years and no problems there either.
