4th test west indies v england;;;barbados

I suspect it will be;

Strauss
Cook
Shah
Pietersen
Collingwood
Bopara
Ambrose
Broad
Swann
Anderson
Harmison

I would like to see;
Strauss
Cook
Pietersen
Bopara
Collingwood
Shah
Ambrose
Broad
Swann
Sidebottom
Khan

I'd like to play Rashid, but not sure where he fits in to the current side. His batting isn't yet good enough to play anywhere higher than 7, while his bowling isn't good enough to be the only spinner. If Prior was still here you could move him to 6 and bat Rashid below him (and omit Bopara) I suppose.

The baby was already 2 days old when Prior got home, although I dont agree with Marshy's comment.

Are the selectors stupid or just f***ing c'unts? How can you play Harmison infront of Sidebottom, f***ing ridiculos. In Antigua on day 5 we was chasing a test match victory, we needed WICKETS so Oh, Super Steve kept bowling either leg side or bouncers :rant:

Anyway, I expect a win from this game, but an easy win. Cook to get a century at least once in the game, and Ambrose to get a 50. :)

C'mon England.

Harshy, that's what they should call you. He was always planning to miss one test match and everyone knew it. Maybe seeing his new born is a MASSIVE thing for him, bigger than a cricket match perhaps? Why is he a prick for going?

As the song goes......

I don't like Test Match Cricket, oh no.........I f***ing love it!

:clap2:

I also expect us to win this one, backed by 10,000 of our own supporters. It will be tough to get 20 wickets on this surface but if we win the toss and get a huge score we can watch them collapse like a pack of cards again.

On a broadly similar topic, anybody read Marcus Trescothick's autobiography? Working my way through that at the moment, and rather enjoying it. Now this is a man who should have dropped out of a tour some time before he eventually did- maybe if he'd done what his heart was telling him in the first place, he wouldn't have had all the later problems. Interesting insight though, I would recommend the book if you like your cricket.
