Top bloke he even mentioned how happy the true Brighton fans eventually made him feel with his dinner evening!

Could do a lot worse than get Guy back at this club when the new gaffer arrives and have him look after our defensive duties!

Always felt, Elphick, Lynch always played much better when guy was there and his experience could be crucial in the run-in to the end of the season!

Didn't Portsmouth have a defensive coach under Harry Redknapp? It isn't a bad idea if we can afford it. Although obviously a goalkeeping coach is a more pressing priority.

I'd love to see him come back in some sort of coaching role.

It is plain to see that our defense has suffered without his influence and I'm sure he was a great character to have about the place

I think a lot of people would be happy to give that type of partnership a go BUT unfortunately right now we don't have time on our side to allow an inexperienced team some room to make mistakes.

We need to get up the table FAST and I fear that will take a man who's been there and done that - even if he's not a particularly glamorous option

In all honesty if White is going to get us through the season, i would be all for this suggestion!

Good to see lot's of positives for Guy on here, Get him back Dick, as a coach!

'Race' is Guy's wife, if you ever see a post by her that has no capital letters it'll be the big man himself and if my memory serves me right he is currently doing his coaching badges
