Spread Markets expectations show that 40pts might not necessarily be enough to avoid the drop this season.
Cardiff & Huddersfield tailed off, then 5 teams (which include us) all within a point of the 40pt threshold.

Good job we’re 3 points better off than this stage last season.
I think that principle that if the bottom two end up with an historically low number of points, it is far more likely that this elevates the points requirement to avoid falling into that final relegation place is sound. I really doubt it'll leave that third-to-bottom team needing 40 points. Is there a spread on points required for survival?
Exactly. What's the spread on European qualification? [emoji3]Can we get more than 2 games in to the season before worrying about possible relegation??
Off topic a bit, but are we really 18/1 to win tomorrow?
If so I'm having a fiver on that.
Good job we’re 3 points better off than this stage last season.
How high up?If we went down with 40 points I'd jump NAKED off the I360
Or you could look at it as 1 point worse off given that we beat Utd at home last year and drew at Watford last year
Or 1 point worse off when compared to the same games last season.
35/36 will be enough
Hadn't looked at spread betting before. Selling Cardiff at 30.5 looks like a good opportunity.
