well the defence are always to blame. cox gave ball away for second goal, is tht the defence NO. How many chances the strikers have and not score LOADS, who scores the only goal a defender POINT PROVED SO EFF U TO THE LOT OF YAS

Have you seen our goals against column...hardly inspiring ro the defence is it..only a hadful of teams have conceded more...we need a old experienced centre half

I agree it is a team performance and we lost the basics since the sacking of DW if Gus can get them playing the simple stuff again i think we will survive quite easily, it probably won't happen over night as we all want thou.

Thats correct. Our central defenders are not turd as TCB puts it, but they are relatively inexperienced, and an old head like we had in Simon Morgan or Guy Butters would be an excellent investment.

Top shout Mr H - although I think it would be even better if we splashed out on TWO smart defenders so they can each have a stoopid defender apiece. A lone Smart-half would be on the tranq's long before he ever got near the training pitch innit. As I'm sure you'll agree: you can't be too careful when you're dealing with idiots.

Dare I say it, but in 2007/2008 when we finished 7th in the league, we only lost 5 league games at home all season and had a +8 GD to boot! Although the defenders were still relatively new to the team and young, the defence had experienced players like Butters and dear old KM which stands out a mile, and is something that we are lacking, IMHO.
