Turned on this morning and it was rained off. Woman's test vs SA was on. Good cricket too, really impressed as to how far the Woman's game has come over the last decade.
Highlight was an LBW appeal that was not given then reviewed and given. When the ladies appealed it was frightening. Sounded like an excerpt from the Stoning Scene in The Life of Brian. Jeez they do collectively make a high pitch noise! :D

England scored 279-5 (78.5 overs, RR 3.53), 299-5 (50 overs, RR 5.98) and 296-3 (54.2 overs, RR 5.44) in the 4th innings to win the 3 match series.

What an extraordinary series this has been.

The mad thing about this England run chase is how (largely) inevitable it all felt. Other than a little wobble with Crawley running out Lees and when Pope fell there just never seemed to be any real concern or sense that England were going to fail. Even though it was still a hefty total to chase.

Yeh, we've gone from utter gash for years to brilliant. From no confidence at all to remarkable self belief

It's like a massive new manager bounce in football.

The India match will be very interesting

Bet they're kicking themselves for crying off the final game last summer when we were shite and now have to face this juggernaut.

Jonny Bairstow 51* (30 balls, 6 fours, 2 sixes) :clap2:

Crazy.

:lolol:

I'd just tuned in thinking it had just started. So I was a little confused by your post.

I then realised I had paused the match for a while yesterday and somehow the television had not re-aligned itself. So I watched the afternoon's play knowing that would be no issues with England getting there.

What time did play start today ?

I looked at 11 and it was raining hard and they said play might start later in the afternoon. I tuned in at just after 2pm and we only needed 22 to win !! . Crazy scoring run rate from England.

Long may it last !
