maybe... :)

Just testing the water.

erm, I really don't know anyone on here personally but I am thinking about doing the trip to Doncaster in my car.

None of my mates are that die hard to travel a distance to watch so 3 seats maybe available. £15 a pop sound fair?

Pick up from Brighton/Hove area only condition NO SMOKING!

Anyway let me know and we can firm things up.

Is your fuel really going to cost £80? Do you drive a Hummer?:D

Its much more fun going to away games with a car-load so you ae doing the right thing. Loads of people are going to Donny who don't normally travel so far, so I am sure there will be takers for your kind offer, but I think you need to drop your price to at least £15.

Pornomagboy's Volvo drank £150 of deisel for the Bradford trip

considering wear and tear (depending on what car it is engine size etc) £15-£20 is reasnable for Donny, the coach wont be much less than £35ish

Eh?

£150 = 150 litres = 37.5 gallons.
Brighton to Bradford is a round trip of 530 miles.

This Volvo does 14 miles to the gallon?

Did he drive all the way in second gear?

If you have any probs getting passengers you could publicise your offer to the words of a song...

well its a 3.5litre XC90 so quite juicy anyway, coupled with 7 people in it and possibly going slightly over 70 a couple of times :lolol:

Even so.

Had I taken the trusty Passat estate, at 9p/mile, I would have had to reimburse the company £47.70. I could have driven there and back 3 times for less, and still have had change for a burger and a pint.

I accept that I would have been quite tired afterwards though.

To be fair, I was suggesting £20 before I reconsidered and edited my post!

Even £20 is fair.If people don't like it then they can always pay £35 for the coach which takes all week to get there.People are idiots when they add up what everyone is paying together. It doesn't work like that.

What we really want to know, is did he get you each to pay a share of £90, or sting you each for a share of £150!:)
