Also Dendoncker, Ostigard, Andone now all in hold - looking for new loans.
Final news - but nothing confirmed yet. Walton likely to sign for Ipswich.

Genuine question to those of you who know the regulations better than I do - Scherpen, Richards and Lamptey are all 21, and will celebrate their 22nd. birthdays this year. Do they still count as U21s - and if so until when?

Andone played for Cadiz against Seville on Monday, they have a cup fixture tomorrow and another La Liga fixture on Sunday.

I’m not convinced that he is back at the Albion or that Cadiz have found a way to cut short his loan/transfer?

With Richards, it looks as though they are going to get that with a player who has plenty of top-flight potential, and who has shown he is capable of getting both goals and assists in the EFL.

That feels like it could be just what Birmingham need at the minute, and it is good to see them moving quickly to respond to the departure of McGree.”

Saw someone in another thread asking if we had a full squad out on loan. Looks like we're jolly close to it - if Richards does go, and Dendonker also, then we'll have a similar number of players out on loan as we do in the first team squad. From Papa Lazarou's lists, we'd have:

- 20 declared first team squad + 5 U21's = 25 total.
- 23 out on loan (assuming Richards and Dendonker both go out).

Still time in the window for us to buy a couple more prospects to send out to complete the 25 man loan squad .

Edit: and now I see there's talk of Roberts going out as well. That'd shift the totals to 24 each.
