just got back from honeymoon, at last I can go to an albion game this season but, for some reason, I feel immensely outraged and can't bring myself to spend £25 on a ticket to watch us against crewe. I'll end up booking my tickets tomorrow I'm sure but I had to get that off my chest. BTW anyone going up to Emirates for Brazil Argentina next weekend?

I'm equally outraged that you seem blissfully unaware of the NSC Ticket Exchange. Not a single ticket over £20 on there. People, including myself, giving them away for FREE for that match, to random posters, due to the club disgracefully rearranging the game on account of a random unrelated sport that many at Withdean have f*** all interest in.

Watch the skies, my friend. If the C&G (City & Guilds?) is rained off tomorrow, and played on Sunday instead, there will be the mother of all f***-ups and you'll be able to pick up a ticket for Withdean for as small a sum as you care to mention.

Which would serve the club right on this occasion.

Ha. Ha.

Have a look in the ticket exchange section onthis website, I am sure I saw a few people selling their tickets for cheaper than £25

My husband and two oldest kids are going, friends of ours have a box at the ground and they are doing that. I wanted to go but you're not allowed to take an under 4 year old onto the walk way or something.

Oh well.

have people going to brazil/argies got their tickets yet? Apparently regular gooners don't use tickets anymore, they have fancards that are swiped on entry to the ground. I'm not used to such hi-tech jiggery-pokery. I just want my ticket

That is the true spirit of the United Arab Emirates.

No women or young kids

I think they were concerned I might whip a tit out and feed the baby! ;)

As for tickets the ones booked were book on a members card at Arsenal and you have to print the confirmation email out and bring it to the ground on the day.

Not sure if that is the same for everyone!

My wife often does exactly that when we are in public places with our 4 month old (Jakey). The funny looks are generally not from the locals though - it's those from the Asian sub-continent who tend to stare
