Kicked off big discussion in household last night...I must have admit have been mulling it over all morning
1. She did not seem to be challenged when the CCTV showed that the accusation of being forced to hotel was unlikely - presume it was this that made her an unreliable witness from CPS perspective
2. Or why she agreed to go back in first place - if she had not been coerced what was her expectation of the night
3. Why was he not challenged when the blood on sheets disproved what he said had happened that night...as well as the hospital report
4. As a general question if consent to sex is clearly given and then later withdrawn...is it still rape or is it then assault?
5. With the CCTV of the argument afterwards outside the hotel - could not lip readers had decoded what was being said - which could have been the clear evidence needed?
Doc shows how difficult these cases are
