Hi there guys,
This evening at 10pm, myself and 40 other students and teachers from St. Paul's Catholic College in Burgess Hill will be taking part in a 24 hour football match to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Some of you may remember my requests for donations last year for the same event (so I'm sure you're sick of reading them now but bare with me!), but due to adverse weather conditions (and huge downfall of snow 5 hours before the start) meant that we had to cancel the event. Fortunately, we've finally managed to rearrange everything, I can't begin to tell you how tough it's been putting it all together, but now the day is finally here it all piles into insignificance.
It's worth noting that the Albion have been extremely helpful, providing us with one set of kits and another set of Teenage Cancer Trust tops, as it is one of the club's chosen charities. They are also sending down members of the squad (Adam El-Abd will be there at 1pm tomorrow) as well as members of Gully's Girls (probably best I keep their arrival time a secret!).
My team mates and I would be extremely grateful if anybody would take the time to be generous enough to donate via the link at the bottom of this post.
Also, anybody who wishes to come down throughout the 24 hours is more than welcome, there is a raffle which includes a signed Albion shirt and a ball.
Thanks for reading.
