Credentials: Great hair and general appearance. Swashbuckling playing style and possessed almost no technical ability whatsoever. Bit of a wind up merchant.

Credentials: Never has an assistant manager had such poor discipline. Chucked on to play every now and again despite having been retired for several years pre-Albion. Absolute mad man and red card magnet.

The competitive juices are obviously very strong in Tanno, once he steps onto the pitch.

The bloke was living a happy retirement (in Sicily?), and had zero interest in a career in football management, when Poyet basically press-ganged him back into it. He sat there in his seat on the bench, slumped into his coat, showing zero emotion game after game, like he genuinely gave no fucks.

Then he put a kit on and immediately flipped into a wild-tackling, ref-abusing, mentalist.
