Well, that was a bit of a damp squid, often the way though. Quality ride from Woods, he made those final few Kms look like a walk in the park!

Pogačar now slight favourite to win.

Really enjoying Le Tour so far this year, after swerving it completely last year.

However (& maybe its just the middle aged man I've become) - I've had to switch from Eurosport coverage to ITV4. Always watched ES for the TDF since Ch4 ended their coverage, but this year in particular Im just finding Orla too much. As much as I enjoy Rob Hatch & (I'll say it quietly) *Carlton Kirby* commentating, I really dont like the studio punditry style they've gone with on ES...seems too gimmicky these days - & far too shouty etc.

Much prefer the solid, safe style of Gary Imlach, on the ground in France (is he still wearing the same shades he wore in the '90s on Ch4?! ) with Ned Boulting, Pete Kennaugh, and David Millar.

Past all that now tbh. She can wear what she wants as far as Im concerned. I followed her on social media until fairly recently - but when she started doing Tik Tok dances with the GCN lads last year, that was it for me....done.

True - adverts do bite into the hour a lot on ITV, but, even with Ned being rather dull, Im preferring it over shouty Orla this year.

Strange end to the stage, was the plan just for Pogačar happy to grab another handful of seconds, seems weird why UAE where chasing so much if so.

Regardless, quality ride from Kwiatkowski.
