For anyone who is driven crazy by the ad breaks on itvs tdf coverage, there is a 7 day free trial (£3.99 a month after) for itvx - ad free. This only works on the catchup service though.

Not sure I can recall Cofidis ever winning a TdF stage before!
I find it hard to believe your younger than 15!!!

I can recall them coming a distant 6th with all the bar slapping indignation of a rider cheated out of a guaranteed win. 😆

Loving the new geology section in the highlights show.

Think David Millar got his assessment of that racing track wrong -- he said it wasn't technically challenging. There were a couple of nasty crashes in and leading up to that sprint finish.

Reminded me of my days racing around Goodwood as a 4th cat!

I was wondering if there was oil from the race cars on the track? Several crashes in last 500m

First day of watching for me, and unfortunately one of very few stages that I'll be able to see this year. Looks like it could be a good one though!

Didn't see Pogačar losing a minute plus on a stage like this!

Almost a minute down.
Potentially/probably race over, but on the other hand it could get quite interesting now.

Pogačar will try and win, I can't see him riding all the way to Paris just for a top 3/5, so was today a bad day at the office or is his form not there at all. Also, can Hindley hold onto Vingegaard's wheel and/or take more time ahead of the TT...

I think it’s set up nicely now.

Hopefully! A sort of medium easyish mountain top finish tommorow, will probably be a GC truce, but if Pogačar is suffering he could be out of it big time this time tommorow...
