Bring it on.

Argentina lost to f***ing Saudi Arabia then got AM in (who was the best player on the pitch in the final until he was understandably subbed when running into the ground) ..... In the WORLD CUP FINAL.

Adringa MOM in the final and young player of the tournament in AFCON.

Dunk to score the winning penalty in the final this summer.

Is that the final to see who finishes third?

If you have an omen, just remember this ???:

Yeah, but that was a pretty cool way to go. Maybe not as good as David Warner (not the cricketer).

As an aside, I think I was elsewhere on here I was that you had been looking at old Dr Who stuff. I've had a look myself. I thought 'The War Games' with your chap there, with the bit of church stuck in him, is rather marvellous. Bit too long but top notch TV.

The two separate bits of wood aren’t even in line, Damien :lolol: .

What’s with the nsc insomnia, a dress rehearsal for 4th July?

I'm going for a posh meal at 3pm tomorrow so I'm staying up late to miss breakfast to make sure I eat my monies worth.

However, drinking tequila at 1.30 am is probably not the best preparation.

Great film. That scene was in Bishop's park, where I would wander as a student living in (a cheap shit flat in) Fulham. And, resonance, I was watching Paddy as Dr Who on the iPlayer earlier

I have a lot on my mind right now and have trouble hitting the sack. It is what it is

I’ve no excuse. Just internet and blue light addiction. I do have to work tomorrow, I’ll be fckd, at least it’s WFH.

Yep, I am balls-deep into Zoe (Wendy Padbury) and The Doctor right now. Perhaps I should rephrase that. Ahem.

As far as 'ways to go' is concerned, I used to tell my students that sudden cardiac death is the single most common cause of death. But it is usually quick and a good way to go. I would welcome it, albeit would prefer it after the finale of a session, age 120, with a couple of buxom nudie young women. I always got a laugh for that, till around 96. I looked up into the silent class, baffled, then realised 80% of the class were female, and few of the lads looked like the enjoyed football, pubs and lewdness. When did that happen? 1996.

To paraphrase Basil Fawlty, I think I probably just about got away with it.

My first Doctor Who was Jon Pertwee, magical and scary … I literally did the hide behind settee thing. I remember too The Master and the Brigadier. I haven’t seen that era since it was first aired. Tom Baker was also great imho.
