He was the most experienced player in the team but was just trundling around the pitch, spraying passes around (usually out for a throw in) and generally looking like he couldn’t give a solitary shit. I think that was around the time that he started sporting a red beard. I just looked at him and thought “you’re a disgrace to your profession”
