I remember at secondary school I said to my teacher "Brighton will be in the Championship one day, and top attendance records".

The United fan that my teacher is laughed in my face and said they'll never taste success again. One Gus Poyet later and had a very good laugh at him when I saw him visiting the AMEX...he's still eating that humble pie

our lowest attendance is better than the average of everyone bar Sheffield Wednesday.

I remember some gloating posts, probably from Palarse fans, saying the Amex was a white elephant and we would be playing in front of gates of 10 000 two years from the opening of the stadium

The Leicester v Middlesbrough game was played for TV despite snow and ice making it impossible for many fans with tickets to make it to the King Prawn.
