Congolese Tiger Fish
Congo%20Tiger%20Fish_604x500.jpg

has the somewhat singular distinction of being the only African freshwater fish (excluding the Zambezi shark, which is really a saltwater fish) known to attack humans, and there are several recorded incidents from the Congo River, finished 2nd in group B with 25 votes

vs

Crocodile

They are an ancient lineage, and are believed to have changed little since the time of the dinosaurs. They are believed to be 200 million years old whereas dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago; crocodiles survived great extinction events. Finished 1st in group G with 27 votes

The fish looks mean, it seems to have come this far mainly on that basis, and might attack people.
Haven't seen many other arguments for it's hardness.
Crocodile, even though I think it's overrated.

My loyalties lie with the Congolese Tiger Fish, however both would scare the crap out of me should I encounter them down at Prince Regents'!

Congolese Tiger Fish seems harder. Fishes shouldn't be that MENTAL. Croc is doing exactly what you would expect it to be able to, thus not really hard.

If I was swimming in a creek and I saw a Congolese tiger fish coming towards me I might get a bit of a fright.

If I saw a crocodile I'd probably crap myself so much I'd drown myself.
