"He'd be able to split you open in a couple of seconds, you have no idea. We work with these guys and we work with Crocodiles on a daily basis. There's no doubt we would rather be in there with a 5 metre, 1 ton Crocodile than here with a 60 Kilo Cassowary"

that man is obviously mentally disabled

This is a bloody tough call. The croc is a world famous and seasoned competitor. The Cassowary is an absolute wild card though. We dont know too much about it other than it is a fruitloop. I think the only other competitor that has similar dont give a f*** attitude is the honeybadger. However research(wikipedia...) suggests that it might all be bluster...apparently there has been no recorded evidence of the death by evisceration that is it's big selling point.

I'm going to stay my vote and wait for someone to convince me one way or the other.

There's been no recorded death by Cassowary because everyone stays the f*** away from them. If they do go near them, as seen above, they take police riot shields with them!

Most croc deaths are probably due to idiots going too close.

As mentioned previously, did you see Steve Irwin go anywhere near a Cassowary? No, you didn't. But, he didn't mind going near a croc did he?

If the crocodile goes through, then so should the human, and the human should go further. I'm sure there's much more evidence of humans defeating crocs in a wrestling match, rather than the other way round.

He leaves that to his less famous DAD.

Cassowary's do go near people... to feed from their bins. This is a problem for conservationists becuase sometimes domestic dogs kills them.

does this mean the domestic dog should therefore have MARCHED into the quarter finals?

im sorry, but that is the most damning evidence for me right there. anything that can be killed by a domesticated animal shouldn't have even got this far

well done cassowary, you've done well to make the savage 16s, but get the f*** out now before you embarass yourself and the turkey family and let a proper DINOSAUR march on to its rightful place in the last 8

I went to the Sydney Wildlife Centre just 2 weeks ago, and the croc is FAR FAR harder than than the Ostrich look-a-like. My daughter (15 months) wasn't even scared of the bird. Crocs are fast & don't lose fights. It has to be the Croc

An easy one.

The Cassowary lost the ability to fly through sheer laziness. The crocodile is effectively a dinosaur that has survived for many millions of years.

Crocs all the way.
Exactly. 300 MILLION years of owning Africa's rivers says all you need to know.

CROC.

No, that dubious honour belongs to the mosquito which has killed millions.

And even excluding them, I suspect you're wrong. Hippos are the biggest killer in Africa apparently.
