That new Chelsea offering is a hell of a lot nicer than their current shirt with the weird chest plate effect. Begrudgingly I'll accept that Manchester United's new shirt is a nice effort too.

Let's hope that we get something similarly smart for next season

What does everyone think of Australia's World Cup shirt? Quite retro I thought

Cant say i like any of the new kits, why do Man united have to bring out a new kit every single year!!

They don't

Recent kits for them

1990 - 1992 (2 seasons)
1992 - 1994 (2 seasons)
1994 - 1996 (2 seasons)
1996 - 1998 (2 seasons)
1998 - 2000 (2 seasons)
2000 - 2002 (2 seasons)
2002 - 2004 (2 seasons)
2004 - 2006 (2 seasons)
2006 - 2007 (1 season)
2007 - 2009 (2 seasons)
2009 - 2010 (always was indicated to be for 1 season from the day it came out)

There are plenty more teams that change more frequently than that, you could even say that Man U are amongst the better teams for not changing so often.

I dont mind a frequent kit change, every two years is perfect, one year would get boring, but after two i cant wait to see wht the new kit will look like, although i can imagine it being a right pain in the arse if you was to buy the shirts for kids/yourself.

The Australia kit is lovely, was very tempted to post it myself at the start of the thread. They needed something a bit different, given that their Rugby Union team has started to wear a soccerball kit:

I think its quite nice, although maybe a little cheap. It looks like something you would buy in kmart.

Awful, it's like the polyester numbers you find on the clearance rails in TK Maxx, badly stitched so that the shoulders ride up every time you move your arms. The Vietnamese sweat shop where those things were made needs to be closed down post haste!

I like it, but I get the feeling it will only be getting 3 run outs this time around, more's the pity.....

That Italy goalie shirt is amazing and will only be beaten if Brezovan runs out in errea's 'spiderman' kit next season!

dont understand why Chelsea have red on the collar? something to do with england possibly?

They had red trim on all their kits until 1995. It is just an old tradition re-introduced.
