Can anyone remember what time it was played, im sure it was early morning around 6am but a coulple of guys at work said im wrong and i was on at 3pm.

it was in the morning. i remember wanting to watch it, but waking up hungover, and struggled downstairs just in time for extra time. great hangover cure.

Kick off about 7.30 am I think ? That was a mega day. I must have consumed about 10 pints of Guiness before midday.

I remember listening to it on the radio on the way to Notts County at about 10am I think. Could be slightly wrong though.

i'm pretty sure we played football that day

i remember pissing everyone off by telling them the score

i thought it was early in the morning (english time) also on that day it was my birthday and we also beat notts county 2-1 away!

We got to Nottingham and watched the extra time in the pub (about 10.30)

We had a portable tv on the train on the way up

It finished about nooish (well the tv programe did anyway) as i remember it being headline news and me moaning that ive just spent the last 2 hours watching the bloody thing!

In the morning, we watched it in the pub on the way to Notts County, and we won in the afternoon!

I remember calling my daughter who with her friend were the only two English women in a Brisbane pub!

I watched the game after rushing my paper-round. Im not a rugby fan but watching England win a World Cup is always good.

I can't believe that was just over 3 years ago now

Can't see us winning it again next time round.
