Bit of a dull season though, wasn't it?

Can't think of anything of any importance happening at all to be honest.

Good stuff. Were there any articles about Brighton in Four Four Two magazine that season?

Yes there were.

I'll fish them out at some stage.

Great stuff!

And well done for scanning all of 1996/97. I will have a look when I get home.

An absolute SNAKE, right to the end.

It really turned my stomach, scanning the seasons where he was in charge, knowing what we know now.

After those times, as fans we can deal with anything. I know we don't want to dwell too much on the history thing, but the trials of the last few weeks are NOTHING compared to 1995-1997.

Exactly this.

Those were really shit times.

Now we moan about what type of real ale they have on the concourses, and how long the bus queue is.

Back then we nearly didn't have a team to support.

Makes Gus' toys and pram episode seem trivial by comparison.

I thought Belotti's memories of the Goldstone was exceedingly moving. Such a shame some of our 'fans' forced him out and away from the club, so clearly dear to his heart.

We should have "stopped winging" and believing the "lies" printed in the Argus. Then everything would have been ok at our new ground being built...well, nowhere, actually.

On to 1997/98 now, and it's good to see the name 'R Knight' as Chairman.

By the way, can anyone help.

I appear to have lost my copy of the Leyton Orient League Cup programme from 13 August 1997. Has anyone out there got a copy I can buy/borrow off them?
