Assuming we had about 3k there,.. where are all the big clubs fans?.. it was their first home league game too,... or are we just not a big enough draw?

Portsmouth aren't a big club though. Historically (in the last 40 years or so), until their recent spell in the Premiership, they've averaged no more than 15,000 or so and as little as 9,000.

Plus it's a dump of a ground that has apaling facilities.

In fairness to their fans a lot will be on holiday as with us but in our case many would have postponed their holidays until later because of The Amex opening.

If they have so many empty seats at their first home game, against a local team, how do they expect to get reasonable crowds for teams like hull and Coventry etc....? If they can't get bums on seats their demise will just be quicker.
