They are from HMS Cornwall and were doing anti smuggling duties.

Apparently something similar happened two years ago and they were all released unharmed (eventually after a big diplomatic wrangle)

Not good. Cheeky fuckers are taking a liberty considering that in 2003 we picked up a load of bodies from an Iranian patrol boat that wandered into an Iraqi mine and gave them back under cover of darkness with no fuss. We went into their territorial waters for the handover, and they didn't play silly bastards with us, they were just grateful.

We'll get these back, once they have seized the weapons, gone through their pockets, and taken lots of PR photos. Sad thing is that if we took a load of theirs, diplomatic negotiation would be the last thing on their minds....
