Remind me, what did my season ticket go up by for next season?

Still nowhere near enough though. Football, where large investments become small ones by the second!
Only because all the clubs have so much money from TV deals like this.

It's fantastic news that so much heat has been taken out of the transfer market and in my view is a complete vindication of FFP and PSR. Hopefully this is the first step on the long road to football finance being more sustainable and lead to better competition between clubs and amongst different leagues.

So… 6th place gets you the 6th most amount of money?

That’s disappointingly predictable isn’t it. One might even call it a dull result.

6th place got us the 7th most amount of Money. Tottenham a couple of spots down got more (thanks to ten more televised games).

A dull result was when I pulled two birds from Wolverhampton at Jenkinson’s one Friday night in 1985

what are top 5 and Tottenham doing to get so much more "facilities fees"??? clear 8-10m more than others.
Under the deal each team is given an a theoretical (but not in reality) minimum of ten live games from the broadcasters.

For every time you appear more than ten times you get an additional £750k as a facility fee as a bonus. This means the clubs who generate the highest viewing figures, and therefore tend to appear more often for live broadcasts, are rewarded.

It's because the north stand don't create any atmosphere... :catfight:

On the flip side we're 6th for overseas tv so...三苫さんありがとうございます🎌
The overseas element is merit (not facility fee), ie how high in the table you finished.

I wish I could share your optimism. You can be sure that those no longer making as much money will be plotting to ensure they do, whether that’s in form of new super leagues or something else. Give it time…

Makes not buying Bennets Field even harder to understand.
Why spend millions on buying a tarmac'ed field for a few parking spaces for those too lazy to jump on a train or a P&R bus ?
